Begining of a journey

Today my cute little daughter has started going to school. She is exactly 3 yrs 1 month and 5 days old on date. It was raining heavily in Dehradun since yesterday. In fact it is the heaviest rain we have seen here. I felt it was like pouring from bucket last night. In Guwahati, even half of the rain Dehradun had received last night would have caused rain water floods. Braving the rain, we took her to school. She was pretty excited about going to school unmindful of the fact this is just the begining of another phase of her life. The bag we have put on back will have to be carried for the next 20 years or so. Two dacades, yeah! That is going to be a real long journey which will witness many ups and downs. Her destiny will be with her. She was born on 5th on a wedesday. Her birth no. is 5 which is in resonance with wednesday. So she should become successful in life. I had put a silent H in her name Swathi (pronounced Swati) to make its number 5 as well. We had prayed to god and perfomed puja for this occasion. She is our future. May God be with her on this new journey!

This is my third blog. My first blog 'Guwahati Diary' is about travelling and other areas of interest to me. I manage one more blog for a group trying to set up a housing society. In both these blogs I can not put my feelings about certain things in life. So, this is the place to pen down my spare thoughts.
